The Importance of Art in My Life

Art was always encouraged as a pastime because my parents were kind of more hippies. For me, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents and my grandma was a really good artist. And she had this picture of a tree that I guess like your friend in grade six who could render perfectly. To me, one day, I'll be able to draw as good as grandma. It was just that one picture. Like it's still emblazoned in my mind. But I think overall, the experience of school was really, really beneficial to me. You know some people can also say you don't need to go to school for everyone but it's different for each person.
