Do Not Do Static Stretching Longer Than 15 Seconds
Do not do static stretching longer than 15 seconds at the beginning or as a warm up for your sessions. Don't go and start slamming yourself into these positions you haven't been in before, because you're violating rule number one. If those muscles are stiff and tight, stretching is not going to help you. I have a video that shows how to get up and down off the ground a spine safe. And this something where we can use strength training to teach you a life skill. We want to be healthier and live longer simply going out and beating your body to crap. That's not the whole point of why we're doing endurance sports.
