How Body Scanning Can Help You Be More Present at Work

There are so many times when we need to focus and stay really present at work. One of my favorite tricks for getting my mind right focuses on connecting to my body. Body scanning is a mindfulness technique that helps you focus your attention on the sensations happening in your body. It also allows you to notice when your mind is wandering and you're not paying attention to your sensations. And mindfulness practices can help you build your capacity to be a better listener, a better colleague, and, in my experience, a better person.
