I'd spent six plus years learning spanish, and my job sent me to hate, but that's ahonother story. But yet, they taught me french. And i also got to learn creol. Once i got to haite, i was given an instructor to learn te local dialect, creol, hatian creole. It paid off tremendously, because i was there during the earthquake in 20 ten and we had a lot of people we had to help,. language was one of the main ways we communicated.
