The Good Guy Wins, Isn't It?

The game of thrones project was in part an attempt to correct professor tolkin's myth about the good guy winning. Martin says there aren't good rulers like aragon who will rule after the war is over, will rule peaceably for 500 years. But that a that kings don't rule with peace for500 years. They have tax policies that affect people in different classes differently. And it's not black and white. Who would want to read the book that describes a tax policy?
