How to Deal With Burnout in the Workplace

I don't want to trivialize people who are actually suffering and that's not the point of this I guess preamble to my question here John. When they talk about burnout they talk about a state of emotional physical and mental exhaustion that's created by prolonged and excessive stress in the workplace. It can produce feelings of cynicism or detachment sense of ineffectiveness, which is akin to you know depression where someone might say  they're depressed but they're not clinically depressed.
