The Surveillance State of America
President Johnson refused to send combat troops to Vietnam despite their pleadings that he sent 250,000 combat troops in the end. Nixon then became president that 560,000 troops and 56,000 never came home,. And that war then, you know, led to the next war. So we've had these series of traumas that have pushed us into the surveillance state with the Vietnam War. That's why I would give us an F or failure.
