I was briefly tempted to buy a brand new hybrid miny van. I got a little bit of money that i borrowed from my parents, and they were gracious enough to give me good terms on that loan. It felt really good to know that my kids would be driving something really nice that we paid for and bought with cash. That's a we could do all that without taking away from our written plan to pay debt and save for retirement.
