Is the Fed Still Buying Treasuries?

The Federal Reserve can't really do anything without the Treasury as far as making money just appear, you know, in their own account. So even if they're buying them from themselves, so the Treasury is auctioning off the notes and bonds that we're talking about. It goes through an intermediary that commercial banks because the Fed can't actually interact directly with the Treasury.
