I think there's a kind of wonkiness that has overtaken the Democratic Party as frankly big labor has fallen out of the Democratic Party. So you have these militant leaders and organized movements, which are quite small in size. They're very extreme factions pushing this anti-trans politics all around the country. I would believe that's a relatively small, organized faction that is doing this in a sustained and extremist way. And then what makes it plausible? A bunch of other people who are casually glomming on to this politics or being receptive to it,. Who give that extremist politics the kind of purchase it needs to have any life.
