The James Clear Principle of 1% better every day is a great principle for testing and approving God's will. If you didn't know it, you would not associate the two. They're so unlike each other. We can test and discern and not approve like we give God a thumb up or thumb down. And in that capacity to be transformed in our mind through God's word and other means is so important for us to know the difference between God's will and what's notGod's will. The tricky ones are the right and wrong decisions; neither is sinful but there's no room for both.

If you’ve ever used a cookie cutter, then you know what the world wants to do to you. The broken and sinful spirit of today's culture wants to shape us into its image. But as believers, we are called to a higher standard. Instead of being conformed to a failing system, we are challenged to be transformed into the likeness—the shape—of Christ. As we continue our study of Romans 12, we’ll zero in on verse 2 and learn how being transformed can help us become the men God created us to be.
