Mehmethe Conqueror was the 7th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. His father, Mehad II, abdicated the throne after his peace with Hungary and gave it to Mehmet. While European powers didn't have a high opinion of Mehmet, they saw him as an inexperienced 19-year-old who couldn't add up to his father's conquest.
