Bed Sets

I had to think about it because the place I lived in where you had lived previously was not much bigger than a bed set. My definition of a bed set is a place where the kitchen could be in the same room as you're sleeping. It's really small. These places were really invented or they became popular probably around about the 1920s or 30s, when they started to appear. When basically, because of migration to cities, young people, originally men, but later from the 60s onwards, some women as well, went and they had to find accommodation for jobs that they'd started in the city. But they obviously didn't have much money. They were invented for that type
