In the 90 and early 19 twenties, h g. Wells publishes his history of humanity,. this huge, long, a sweeping tale that tells te story of progress. And chesterton smells in this a sort of utopianism which was not immune to some races tendencies. He saw these rock paintings as primitive child drawings before humanity graduated to its european status of the twentieth century. But instead, chesterton, along with indigenous commentators upon those paintings to day, approach them with deep reverence.
