The Pandemic Is Not Nothing Until Everyone's Safe
The scale of it boggles the mind. It's not nothing here is unprecedented, including indifference to the suffering and death of other people. There is a pretty good likelihood that this thing would have controlled itself if we had simply done nothing. And I think the most important question in the entire pandemic might be how much of the harm that was done here after the thing was already spreading.
