The Origins of Statutory Law
Westminster statute 1275 is the beginning moment of what you would call constitutional law. The constitutional tradition in England began with that, and it took a very different form once you have the Constitution in the United States. Edward the third was considered the greatest statutory reform in English legal history. He wanted to give credit to the source of law being the legislative power.
