Kin Selection Theory

K kin selection theory predicts that homosexual individuals will behave in a more altruistic manner towards their close kin. In doing so, they can help their close kin reproduce more and thereby offset the quote unquote evolutionary cost of them not reproducing directly. Has this been tested? Do we know if that's the case? Well, it's been tested in a variety of Western or industrialized countries. So there's pretty much no evidence to support the hypothesis.
