The Importance of Playing an Option Offense
As a wide receiver in an option offense, my senior season, I have a lot of appreciation for the live period. We had to identify who our pitch man was going to be at the line of scrimmage. Usually it's a force player. So if it's covered to, I'm going to identify the corner. If they're rolling down and cover three, I'mgoing to identify the strong safety. Maybe it's the wheel linebacker, depending on what the look you get.
