And that increased engagement was projected to generate 20 million more dollars per year. Now, what they didn't do with this experiment was say, hey, users, how do you feel about that change? No, they just saw how they behaved, and they turned that behavior into dollar signs. By making our ap essentially what they said, without knowing they were saying it, was, by making our ap more frustrating for users, we will make more money.
