How to Tune a Drum Kit
The only dynamic I use on a kit is 57. You tie it together with another mic. Most of the times if the drum is tuned properly, I don't even use the bottom mic. C12 A's is always my first pick. Ridiculous on toms. If they could, but most studios don't have... Nah. Nashville. And then two you have to be careful because of the drummer.
