Using Competitors in Your Own Marketing

When you position your product, don't obscure your competition. You want people to understand that something that is maybe not the same, but has similar functionality, can be in the same category. Once you have people weighing the options, you could sell them value. And if they value what you give them more than what they had before, they'll jamp. That's as easy as it is. It may feel dangerous to show your customers alternatives to your product, but it really is not.
