Richard cannal is the owner of small island seed company, where they just so happen to specialize in rare, unusual, cold, hardy vegetables and herbs. The first crop i'll touch on is turkish rocket - it's not actually a true rocket, like a rugula is. It grows these huge, long leaves, and its roots go so deep, there's been reports of them going to 30 feet deep. And because of that, they can draw up so much nutrition and so much water.
