The Donkey, the Fence, the Crawling Underside of the Fence

Donkeys are such symbols of humility. They're lowly. You know, jesus rides to his crucifixion on a donkey. I'm sure somebody would have loaned him a horse. But it's symbolic of of the humble place. And as you're described, of the day to day, step by step, doing what you have to do. It's interesting that the donkey can leap the fence, which is what our dream ego and his trainer initially do. They want to go over the fence, but instead, our dream ego winds up having to crawl underneath the fence. So the donkey, the fence, the crawling underneath, it's all a message of, come on down
