The Apologetic Argument
Augustine was able to bring what he's doing into the pulpit you might even say it came out of the pulpit um and he's using these these approaches as he preaches. There's this one sermon where he has he's given a basically an apologetic sermon where they've let pagans in and then he dismisses the pagans and he addresses the congregation. He says: "I'm always begging you to win over those who haven't yet believed by leading good lives otherwise you too i feel fear will have believed to no purpose"
