Journalist has spent most of his career preserving christian and islamic tex in war zones, or at least places that are in conflict. He travelled to gaw last summer with columba on this really amazing trip. In two thousand 12 there was a conquest of timbuto by forces that are sometimes called by shorthand islamist. There were initial reports then that they had com ented tembok to and destroyed these precious collections of manuscripts. So we started working in a very safe part of molli with manuscripts that had been evacuated from an area which became a war zone.
