The Importance of Trend Following for Short Term Managers

I actually disagree because a few years ago I heard this argument from the short term space not everyone but from some some short term managers saying well you know markets are moving so fast we're really the only strategies. Since then short term has done nothing not even through some of these crises not even through March as I just said at the top of this episode they're trailing this year. Even if you're telling me oh we're gonna have 8% inflation so you should have this kind of strategy we have no idea if that kind of strategy will deliver in an 8% inflation environment so to speak.
