John Wick: A Lean Cut
It had been a very testing and difficult shoot for John Wick it is worth noting that the schedule was incredibly tight. They didn't have any money left over to reshoot anything they couldn't go back and do any other scenes. When the film went before a test audience when it wasn't being seen by filmmakers for the first time well the response was really really strong. There was growing confidence that John Wick might just be the film to give me Keanu Reeves a nice hit in the autumn of 2014 and also make a fair bit of money for Lionsgate as well.
