The Wall Street Journal reports that the Great Pacific Ocean Garbage Patch is in fact a kind of nature preserve. Scientists who studied it found goose neck barnacles, jet black sea anemones and blue button jellyfish sea snails by the wind sailors. What are we to make of this stunning development that the world's greatest garbage patch is actually a very, very fertile place for life to take hold?
