Are You Being Very Specific About Where Ownership Over a Project or Idea Lie?
I think that if you don't assign responsibilities or make them available, then you'll just default to traditional structures. The way orgs become slowed down by layers of administrative and managerial roles is like, every step of the way, everything you're doing makes perfect sense. But what happens is you wake up with an org that's no longer creative, that no longer fights for its mission. And so those are things I think you have to be very opinionated about. It sounds like you're being very explicit about where ownership over a project or idea lies.
