The Importance of Backwards Compatibility in SQL

I made the biggest changes before version zero dot five, we really started settling down to this new kind of thing with the query. I always made sure that there was a backwards compatibility path. We like people to test because it might be surprises that we didn't expect and we fixed those. But you do need to be watching the versions and the changes.
