Living in a Place With a Strong Public Transportation System
Most of the things that we needed on a daily or weekly basis were within striking distance of our home, easily achievable with a pleasant walk and or a pleasant bicycle ride. And if you live in a place where public transportation is convenient, where it's reasonably priced, where it’s useful to you, then obviously this becomes much more achievable. Many of the biggest cities in the world have great public transport systems. Having a car is just or not having a car. It's considered the normal affair. Living on a hub or a spur like that makes life better.
