CHAPTER

The Problem With Testing

The key problem with testing is that a test of any kind that uses one particular set of inputs tells you nothing at all about the behavior of the system or component when it is given a different set of inputs. I have to highlight it in purple because that feels like a good future of coding challenge. It does not seem to support any part of the argument. Who knows because it's too ambiguously situated. It's not tied to anything. The point is most testing tells you nothing about this. This is a practically minded industrial scale. What techniques are really peoplereally using, right? And so most testing tell you nothing about those inputs.
