Defining the Future With Physics
A deterministic view of the universe is one in which the future is completely determined by the past. So you have a set of initial conditions, meaning ou like you know the location and the velocity of every object in the universe - then you can predict exactly what's going to happen. And it's something that you also sort of know intuitively, right? If you are throwing the ball to somebody who's running really fast, you know sort of how to throw it so that it gets them at the right moment.
