The Importance of Clarity on Brexit
We could have the fastest growth in the G7 outside of the single market, but it's a hell of a lot easier if we can get access to the single market. So we're really clear in the Labour movement, Europe. You can't make Brexit work. We are going to have to negotiate. The Trade and Cooperation Agreement negotiations coming up in 2026. We want to be part of helping make the case that we can have that conversation. But isn't that also quite difficult for the Labour Party to do right now? BecauseBrexit has only just begun to have been neutralised as a political issue.
