Is There Such a Thing as Too Long?

There is some evidence suggesting that contractions at long muscle lengths or more fatigue inherently than short muscle lengths. However, and this is where I'm a bit skeptical of that finding - it's something the people over at data driven strength have mentioned to me. My hunch is that in some of these studies at least, part of the difference of fatigue if not the entirety could be due to the novelty of it.
