JetBlue ends its quest for a Northeast Alliance with American. Both airlines will stop selling tickets on each other's flights this Friday. JetBlue instead will focus on getting court approval for its pending acquisition of spirit airlines. The Justice Department has sued to block that merger, arguing it would remove lower fares from the marketplace.
