David Bianculli: This week's episode is about a man who wanted to get into sports. He says Bill Rasmussen was fired from his job as communications director for the Hartford Whalers hockey team in 1978. Now he and son Scott are trying to start a cable network focused on Connecticut sports, but it doesn't go well. The two men decide to team up with an insurance agent named Ed Egan; this leads them to ESPN.
