Introduction

The number of cases of tropical macrocitic anemia treated with marmite was not large. In all, 22, many of which could be followed up only for a short time. The results of the treatment were, however, so striking that i feel justified in reporting them more - especially as i am leaving india and shall not be able to continue the work further. It is hoped that other workers will be encouraged to give the treatment a trial. At present, it is only possible to state that in marmite, and possibly in other yeast extracts, there appears to be a curative agent for this dread disease. And it's also, i love how full of spoilers it is.
