Paxton's Impact on the A's
Since he made his season debut on the 12th of May against the Cardinals, James Paxton has a 273 ERA. The 29.1% strikeout rate since he made his debut ranks 13 out of 84 pitchers that have faced at least 100 batters. He's throwing nearly 57% of his pitches are four seamers. So for a starting pitcher to be that reliant on the fastball, it's really incredible to see what he's been able to do. Despite the numbers in totality, they've been great but that is the one interesting thing going forward.
