What Do We Know About Paul?

Some have argued that when paul became an apostle, he, in some ways, really was the creator of christianity as we know it. So what do we know about paul? We don't know a whole lot. His original name was saul. He came from probably a prominent family. He had been trained by rabbis, so he was learned in jewish law and scholarship. It seems that his main objection was their anti temple attitude. They were extremely sceptical, or resistant, to the authority of the temple. And they found the jesus christ message appealing. But all in all, we can see that it seems that paul paul was confused.
