We've All Hit the Ground, and She's Hit the Floor With a Thud
We get the sense that things are going to move pretty quickly to day. The bank of england has stepped in to buy government bonds - a deeply worrying, but also necessary move. So far, this is what we have heard from the prime minister, distrasye, not a lot silence. It's extraordinary. They are essentially saying implicitly that they are having to clear up the mess of the intervention made by the u.K. Chancellor.
