The older queen certainly is being demonized and kind of, you know, slandered as a witch in ways that I think complicate the initial sort of fairy tale presentation in very clever ways. So it's really interesting how like history becomes mixed with superstition and legend and all this stuff kind of gets worked into folktales past a certain point where people are still justified in having this anxiety about powerful women and questions of beauty.
