The SEC's Consent Decree on Elon Musk's Tweets

The US Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC accused Musk of making false and misleading statements regarding taking Tesla private. As a concession, he agreed to the sort of babysitter clause where he has to show his tweets to a lawyer before he actually posts them. Later today, Musk is actually going to hold an earnings call with shareholders. Investors will soon vote on whether or not compel Tesla to publish a report about succession planning.
