How to Charge What You're Worth
Shannon says she gets more questions about money and charging than any other question. The way that she charges changes from job to job and client to client sometimes, it feels like a project fee is a better way to structure things because there's a lot of thinking. If you're not sure what you should be asking for, then turn the question around - ask your boss how much they think you are worth. Nine times out of 10 people will come back with a higher number than you would have been confident putting forward at first.
