The Ethics of VR Immersion

There's a realization of how fast everything is moving towards AI. Elon Musk and several other billionaires initiative to actually find out, are we already living in a virtual world? Their bodies are fed intravenously, but they get experienced taste within the VR world. But isn't, is it, will they be allowed to live there? And would you allow people to choose to go into a virtual world where they could kill people as a way of preventing them doing it maybe?
