The Post Mortem Is a Black Box

The post mortem is technically under the supervision of both the hospital, but also the police. The state mandates that a medical legal must put some more to must be done. You can't visit a body while it is undergoing a post-mortem. This is a totally out of bounds place because it is a legal space. And so it's a specific event space that is deeply monitored, highly regulated and at the same time, completely marginalized by the rest of the hospital.
