The Bean Stock and the Ogre
In the story, Jack is an orphan living with his mother. He ascends a giant bean stock and arrives up in the clouds where he finds there is a giant castle or some kind of lair. A woman tells him to be careful 'cause my husband is coming' And then after that, Jack and his mother live happily ever after. But it actually ends up being the same thing: You remove the skin for the pearl - but this is like you sacrifice much more than just your skin.
