We said before this Giro started that he wasn't looking at his best yet now we know this ground war has his best week or the hardest week in the last week with crowns Montana or crumb on Tanya. And knowing the presence of those hard stages he doesn't need to be at hisbest yet so he can grow into the race towards that second time trial and by Danny should be at the top top level. He might be able to gain that back or something to top three candidates like a third rider candidate in GC maybe top five candidates depending on what level he comes into but back to a rollage for a second and even a pool.
