The Decapitation of Bernice Gein
Bernice Gein's son Frank was the deputy sheriff. He entered the store around 5 p.m. and immediately saw that the cash register was standing wide open. Upon further inspection he found blood on the floor. The last receipt his mother had written was to Eddie Gein for that antifreeze. And his mother was nowhere to be found. When police arrived they discovered Bernice naked hanging upside down by her ankles tied to a wooden beam. She had been decapitated and had been cut open from her genitals to her sternum, dressed like a deer.
