Is Transfer So Important?
The idea of transfer is simply taking what you know about one situation, one context and applying it in another context or situation. And so people might not use the word transfer, but they'll say real world application Or even retention of learning or memorization can be almost seen as transfer. But then why is that such a significant topic right now? So to me transfer simply means applying our learning to new situations.
